Beth Kegley, Ph.D., Professor in the Animal Science Department at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. She obtained a B.S. in Animal Science from Virginia Tech in 1986, then a M.S. and Ph.D. in Nutrition at North Carolina State University in 1989 and 1996, respectively. While at NCSU she worked as a Research Technician for Dr. J. W. Spears for 9 years. She started as an Assistant Professor in 1996 at the University of Arkansas in a research and teaching position. Her research emphasis is the effect of nutrition and management practices on the health and performance of beef cattle, particularly stocker cattle.
