I am a doctoral graduate student working with Dr. George Perry at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center in Overton, Texas. My PhD research is focused on the relationship between the immune system and reproductive function, especially following vaccination in beef cattle. Our goal is to better understand the negative effects at the level of the ovary after vaccination is applied, and how the immune response is playing a role in governing reproductive activity in the beef cow.
