Current research includes, metagenomic and metatrascriptomic studies in pigs and cattle, Investigation of mobilie genetic elements to understand AMR, Genetic editing of microbes to develop better probiotics, Colonization history in livestock species, Microbiome wide association studies and genome wide association studies to understand microbe-host interactions.
