Andre Campelo Araujo have got his degree in Animal Science in 2014 by the Federal University of Piaui in Brazil working with Bioclimatology a Adaptation in cattle. In 2017, he got his master degree also in Animal Science working with performance, behavior, phisiology and and nutrigenomics in chicken under heat stress for the same institution. He started his PhD in Animal Science in 2018 in the State Uiversity of Southwestern Bahia to work in Genetics and Animal Breeding in ruminants. In 2019, he was at Federal University of Vicosa in Brazil to work with genetic evaluations. Since 2020, he is at Purdue Universty working with genetic and genomic analysis in farm animals at Brito's Lab. Currently, he is still in his PhD and has experience in Data Analysis, Genetics and Genomic Prediction/Association, and Genetic Diversity evaluation, and has interest in development of strategies to improve performance, resilience/resistence to dease, adaptation and behavioral traits in livestock.
