Fargo, North Dakota
I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Microbiological Sciences, North Dakota State University (NDSU). I joined NDSU in the Fall, 2020. My research program focuses on 1) understanding the role of the maternal microbiota and feto-maternal microbial crosstalk in fetal programming and offspring microbiome development, 2) using microbiota-targeted approaches to enhance reproductive efficiency in cattle, and 3) development of antimicrobial alternatives to mitigate infectious diseases in cattle. Prior to joining NDSU, I completed my Postdoctoral training at the University of Alberta, Canada. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from the University of Calgary and Agriculture Agri-Food Canada, Lethbridge Research and Development Center, Canada (2019).
