Dr. Ronald Trotta is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Animal & Food Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Trotta completed his B.S. in Animal Sciences at the University of Kentucky in 2017, his M.S. in Nutritional Physiology at North Dakota State University in 2019, and his PhD in Ruminant Nutrition at the University of Kentucky in 2023. He is currently researching physiological limitations of small intestinal starch digestion and serotonin-mediated mechanisms of vascular contraction and relaxation in cattle.
