Dr. Carolyn E. Huntington, Undergraduate Program Coordinator and Senior Lecturer, joined the faculty in the Department of Animal Sciences at Auburn University in January 2015. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Animal Sciences and a M.S. in Nutritional Sciences. She earned a Ph.D. in Animal Sciences from the University of Missouri at Columbia. In addition to teaching and mentoring students, some of her responsibilities include serving as Chair for the Departmental Curriculum Committee, submission of the assessment report for the undergraduate program, assisting with summer orientations, and meeting with prospective students and their families. Prior to joining Auburn, she served Mississippi State University in a similar role for eight years, first as the MSU Undergraduate Coordinator for the Animal and Dairy Sciences Department and later as the Director of Undergraduate Advising for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
