Berta Llorens is a Ph.D. student in Animal Science at University Laval working at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). She completed her BSc. (2018, UdL, Spain) in Agricultural and Food Engineering and her MSc. (2021, IAMZ and UNIZAR, Spain) in Animal Nutrition. She joined AAFC in 2020 as a master’s student and continued her research at the AAFC as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Aline Remus and Dr. Candido Pomar. She has been working on the environmental impact of swine production and the environmental benefits of Precision Feeding for growing-finishing pigs.
