I am Rachel Reith, a graduate student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, studying for a Master's in Animal Science - Breeding and Genetics. I grew up in Wichita, Kansas, but went to Kansas State University for my Bachelor's in Animal Science - Bioscience. Right after graduating from KSU, I began working on my Master's at UNL under Dr. Jessica Petersen. My current research is studying the impact of beta-adrenergic agonists and heat stress on ruminant adipose transciptome.
