My name is Yu Xiang Lan. I am a first-year PhD student in the Department of Animal Science and Technology, specializing in statistics and animal breeding in dairy cows. My research focuses on the genetic evaluation of large-scale Taiwan DHI (Dairy Herd Improvement) data using different statistical models. The objective of my study is to obtain more accurate breeding values and establish selection criteria for dairy farmers to enhance the overall production efficiency of the dairy industry in Taiwan.
