Master's Student
University of Guelph, Canada
I am a Master's student at the University of Guelph, Canada and my research focuses on better understanding and controlling boar taint.
My current projects include:
- Using prepubescent hormone concentrations as a predictor for boar taint at time of slaughter
- Using non-nutritive feed additives as binding agents to bind androstenone in the hindgut, disrupt enterohepatic circulation, and prevent boar taint
