Marcia Fernandes holds a research and academic assistant position at Sao Paulo State University (Brazil). She received a bachelor’s degree in agronomy engineering from University of Sao Paulo and a PhD degree in animal science from Sao Paulo State University. Currently, she is a research scholar at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on ruminant nutrition, with an emphasis on mitigation of greenhouse gases from ruminants to reduce the environmental impact of animal production. Currently, her research motivation is to generate innovative and technological solutions to assist in pasture management decision support tools that could contribute to more sustainable ruminant production.
